My name is Evgeniy Zaifert. This is where I speak for myself.
I created this personal website to bring my statements and updates together in one place. I want people who search for my name to be able to read what I actually say, in context, and with clear attribution.
Why this website exists
Information about a person can be scattered across headlines, comments and search results. My purpose here is to provide a direct account of my own position. A website cannot answer every question about someone’s life. It can make their words accessible and give them a clear place to explain what they mean.
I have published a personal statement about reputation management, mistakes and my wish to live honestly. It explains why I sought help with my public image and why I now believe that rebuilding trust requires more than changing what appears online.
Responsibility for what I publish
I want the information I publish to be accurate about what I know, what I believe and what remains unresolved. Personal views should be identified as personal views. Questions involving documents or legal proceedings should be addressed with attention to the documents, dates and established facts.
I want my actions to give people reasons to trust my words.
What you will find here
- Personal statements: explanations of my position, published in my own name.
- A journal: a record of future updates and reflections as I publish them.
- Corrections and contact information: a place to find the channels I make public and learn how to raise a question about a publication.
I understand that trust cannot be demanded. It develops through consistent conduct, accurate information and time. This website is one way for me to be clear about the words for which I take responsibility.
